The latest details of quarantine and testing requirements for entry into the UK can be found here.
The UK government is expected to relax rules for testing of overseas travellers by the end of October, just in time for the conference! You can read the lastest government press release here.
Fully vaccinated delegates (except those from RED list countries) will NOT have to undergo quarantine but are required to take a Covid test on, or before, day 2 of their stay in the UK. (Delegates may also need to undergo a second test prior to departure for re-entry into their own country). Day 2 tests currently need to be PCR tests but it is expected that by November the testing requirement will be eased to a cheaper lateral flow test.
Day 2 PCR Covid tests are readily available in Brighton and can be booked on line in advance of attending the conference. You can request that testing packs be sent to the hotel for pick up on arrival. These can then be posted to the testing centers from several priority post boxes within easy reach of the hotel. Alternatively, some testing providers have clinics in Brighton where you can book and take walk-in Day 2 tests. We have listed three of the government approved test providers below.
